Bio
Tom is respected throughout the tire industry for his leadership and insights into the national and international OTR engineering arenas. He is a top-performing tire specialist and management professional with extensive domestic and international tire engineering experience. Tom’s understanding of the domestic marketplace coupled with his firm grasp of the offshore market accord him a keen perspective on current industry efforts and future trends.
A specialist in OTR tire sales and service, Tom is also known throughout the industry for his adeptness in management, business administration, training, and customer service. He is fluent in Mandarin Chinese, Indonesian, and African dialects.
Experience
Tom served as Regional OTR Sales and Marketing Manager of the Southeast USA region for Tire Centers Incorporated, LLC, in Orlando, FL, where he oversaw all sales efforts of OTR tires. Subsequently, he joined GCR Tire Company of Phoenix, AZ, as Mine Site Manger at Pinto Valley, where he assisted major mining operations and provided training for OTR technicians. From there, Tom headed to Zacatecas, Mexico, to serve as Technical Manager at the Penasquito Mine for HSM Tire. He then moved on to Eurotire, Inc., of Miami, FL. There, Tom held the position of Regional Manager of Mexico and Central America and Global Field Engineer. At Eurotire, Tom traveled extensively evaluating both tire product performance and overall operating conditions. He also served as principle liaison between Eurotire corporate and local mining officials, recommended products and completed surveys and reports.
